Thoughts about 6th Edition Rules: Fear

Fear is a new universal special rule for 6th edition. Daemons have the rule and chaos are rumoured to have it to and I think monstrous Creatures have it too. To break it down fear is a special rule that happens in the assault sub-phase, the unit with fear forces the other unit to take a leadership test or be reduced to WS 1 for the remanded of the phase. That is one very painful rule. However units with fearless and and They Shall Know No Fear are immune. But charging anything without fear or and They Shall Know No Fear such as guardsmen are in a sticky situation. They are almost like death masks from BA but almost all daemons have the rule (WHY! GW WHY!). To avoid this have banners or leadership reroles with leadership boosting models near by or in squads. But most importantly KNOW YOUR ENEMY make sure you take out squads or models with the rule and hold your lines.
